Google Docs Day (Friday)

WOW!!!! Today was one of those days where I we explored some new territory. The kids had an opportunity to explore the internet tool Google Docs - a free internet application that allows the kids to...

• type papers from any computer that has internet
• work with classmates on papers and presentation projects
• turn papers in online to Mr. Cox

The kids were placed into groups and asked to work together to create a summary of one of ten topics that we have covered so far this school year. From here we'll be starting to create our Wiki for the study of Geography. As we move through the year we'll be adding to this site until we have a collection of everything we have learned. Pretty exciting project.

Students should finish anything that is left undone so far from yesterday's list, as well as try to add to their Google Docs when they have time.
