Getting to know the people (Tuesday/Wednesday)

We'll be spending the next few days getting to know the people of both the United States and Canada - looking specifically at the influences from the past, the different groups that make up both nations, and also their arts and recreation for each nation.  We worked to fill out Side 1 of the organizer that looks at each of these three topics.

Also, be sure to keep up on the news regarding the coalition takeover of the Canadian government the opposition parties.  PM Stephen Harper and the other Conservatives are working hard to prevent their loss of power so soon after the national elections.
