Work Day - Intro to History Day (Wed)

Today, all 8th graders will be able to attend Tech's performance of Bye, Bye Birdie in the morning from 8:40-10:40 a.m. Because of this performance, we won't be having our A Class or E3 and other classes will be skinnies. During these classes we'll be working on our project for the week and also introducing History Day 2009. This year's theme is The Individual in History: Actions and Legacies. The key is to go beyond biographies but instead looking at how an individual in history made an impact at a certain time in history and left a legacy for the rest of the world. Since we are studying the world in Geography, we'll be focusing on a GLOBAL INDIVIDUAL - or someone from outside of the U.S. We'll be talking about this more later.
